KPAG performed at the WSF and was mentioned in an article in OYO’s magazine: “The World Social Forum was also an opportunity to meet other groups and to network, and so I met with the Kenya Performing Arts Group. Established two years ago, this group offers training for young, talented Kenyans who are interested in performing. They have to commit themselves for at least a year and attend classes five days a week, from 09h00 to 16h30. These classes involve warm ups, dance, movement and drama. They presented a powerful show dealing with discrimination, rejection, rape and HIV/AIDS. I hope we will be able to establish a link with them - I believe we have a lot to share.”
